Looking up some of the loot for Ruby Sanctum, which has now popped up on wowhead, the hunter in me is a little sad. Due to the size of my guild I'm probably only going to get into the 10 man version of the raid, unless I'm brave enough to PUG the 25 man version. This is a shame, because the 10 man version of the Ruby Sanctum is very thin on for the hunter loot. There are some mail shoulders, that aren't all that great... and that's about it.

The 25 man loot table on the other has a decent pair of boots, that may or may not be an upgrade depending on how far you've been into Ice Crown Citadel, as well as the true diamond in the rough [Sharpened Twilight Scale]. For hunters, and marksmanship hunters in particular, this trinket is a dream come true. A 163 boost to your armor penetration rating plus the chance to gain 1304 attack power for 15 seconds every time you deal damage will be enough to cause most hunters, and a few other classes that love armor penetration and attack power, drool into their hot pockets. Competition for this little nugget will be tough, so if you plan on chasing this one in a 25 man PUG you are going to need more than a little luck.
